HM The King Lays Foundation Stone Of Two Youth Training And Qualification Centers In Casablanca

 The Kingdom's economic capital saw again, on Wednesday, the launch by HM King Mohammed VI of new social projects in the region for young people's training and qualification.

The sovereign laid the foundation stone of a socio-cultural center for youth's training and integration at the Sidi Moumen neighborhood (prefecture of Sidi Bernoussi districts) and a vocational training center for car mechanic at the Sidi Othmane neighborhood (prefecture of Moulay Rachid districts).

 Carried out by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity for 20.5 million dirhams, the two facilities are an addition to the multiple actions undertaken by the Foundation in the Great Casablanca for youngsters.

 The socio-cultural center for youth's training and integration of the Sidi Moumen neighborhood, worth 6 million dirhams, will contribute to the blossoming and socialization of targeted people through cultural and social activities, that encourage youth assume more responsibility and be more committed mainly in the area of associations, and through training that ensures a better integration in the job market.

 The future center, to be constructed over a surface area of 2,750 square meters, will include several workshops (electrical appliances, computer and office automation, fine arts), rooms for music, foreign languages and remedial courses, a multi-purpose room and a multimedia library. It will also include a reception and exhibition hall and two shops for income-generating activities. 

 The car mechanic vocational training center of the Sidi Othmane neighborhood, totaling 14.5 million dirhams, will benefit 750 interns yearly and be built over 2,594 square meters. It will include several workshops for car repair, diagnostic and in-car electronics, car-body making and painting, and wiring. It will have also four theoretical training rooms, a computer room, a multi-purpose room, a library and a shop for raw material storing.

 On this occasion, the sovereign handed equipment, donated by the Foundation, to several associations as well as graduates of vocational training institutes.
