HM The King, Commander Of The Faithful, Inaugurates Hassan II Mosque In Saidia

  HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, inaugurated, Monday, the "Hassan II" mosque in Saidia.

   The new mosque, spanning on a total area of ​​6,555 square metres, was rebuilt for 25 million dirhams, funded by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.

    Having a capacity of 2,500 worshippers, the Hassan II mosque includes two prayer rooms for men and for women, a house for the Imam and another for the Muezzin, two multi-purpose rooms (for the teaching of the Holy Quran and the fight against illiteracy), two shops and green areas.

    The reconstruction of the mosque, according to the authentic Moroccan architectural standards, stems from the special attention HM the King, Commander of the Faithful, gives to the religious affairs and his constant keenness for the Kingdom to have mosques combining functionality and aesthetics so that the community of believers can practice their religion in good conditions.
