Salé: HM The King Inaugurates Center For Youth Vocational Integration

The Salé prefecture's youth infrastructure were reinforced on the back of the inauguration by HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by King Juan Carlos I of Spain and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, of a center for youth vocational integration at the Bouknadel commune.

Worth 6 million dirhams, the project, carried out by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, shows the special interest the sovereign takes in young people, the Nation's real wealth given their role as an active party in Morocco's social progress process.

The project also mirrors HM the King's determination to include this social segment in the different reforms undertaken in the Kingdom, in conformity with the royal speech on the 59th anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People in which the sovereign underlined that "the major projects we have launched to build a model society, which is deeply committed to its identity and to active solidarity between all segments of the population, can be achieved only through the hard work, creativity and genius of our young people."

The facility seeks to help young people blossom and socialize through activities that encourage commitment and assuming more responsibility, in addition to training and support for setting small enterprises.

The new center will provide the necessary tools for the development of sports and will enable youngsters to benefit from artistic and cultural supervision.

It is built over a surface area of 1,300 square meters and comprises training workshops (carpentry, plumbing, electricity, languages), two rooms for remedial courses, an exhibition hall, a multi-purpose room, and a multimedia library.

It also includes a daycare, an infirmary, and a playground for kids.
