HM The King Lays Foundation Stone Of Center For Women's Training In Hotel Head Housekeepers And Room Service Jobs

HM King Mohammed VI laid this Monday the foundation stone of a center for women training in head housekeeper and room service jobs.
The center, to be carried out by Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity for an amount of 2 million dirhams, shows HM the King's special interest in the promotion of women's socio-economic conditions and their integration in national development.
Mirroring the policy of community-based services, the project is meant to ensure a professional training adapted to the socio-economic and human resources needs of the tourism sector in the region.
It is meant to support women and young people through training which is a tool for development, blossoming and social and vocational integration.
The center, expected to receive up to 120 interns yearly, will enable female dropouts to have access to income-generating jobs, while providing the region's tourism bodies with qualified staff. It will also offer to the beneficiaries training in cooking and baking.
The facility, which will also provide training in foreign languages, includes a training room, a pedagogical room, a language room, a computer classroom, and workshops.
