HM The King Congratulates Maldives' Newly-Elected President

HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to the newly elected president of the republic of Maldives, Abdullah Yameen.

   The Sovereign extends to President Abdullah Yameen warmest congratulations and best wishes of health, happiness and success in his mission.

     The sovereign also congratulates the Maldives' president for the confidence placed in him by the people of Maldives, in recognition of his political abilities and qualities and of his dedication at the service of his country's interests, expressing faith that the new president will spare no effort to fulfill his people's aspirations for further progress, prosperity and stability.

    The Sovereign expresses pride for the Islamic brotherhood bonds linking the Peoples of Morocco and Maldives and satisfaction for the continuous development of the cooperation and solidarity ties between the two countries, voicing resolve to continue to endeavor with President Yameen to give new impetus to bilateral cooperation in various fields, at the services of the two countries and the Islamic Oumma.
