HM The King, Commander Of The Faithful, Receives In Bamako Representatives Of Tariqa Tijania And Tariqa Qadiria

HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, received, on Thursday at the royal residence in Bamako, the representatives of the Tariqa Tijania and the Tariqa Qadiria in Mali.

The sovereign received the representative of Tariqa Tijania in Mali Sheikh Mohamed Ould Sheikna Haidara, AKA Miouyi, Cherif Nioro of Sahel, Mahmoud Diko, president of Mali's higher Islamic council, Sheikh Tiernou Hadi Thiam, President of the national federal council of Tariqa Tijania's followers and member of Mali's higher Islamic council and Sheikh Ahmadou Hadi Tal, Caliph of Tariqa Tijania, branch of Al Oumairiya in Nioro.

 HM the King also received the representative of Tariqa Qadiria in Mali Zakaria Maiga, Caliph of Tariqa Qadiria, branch of Boutchichiya in Bamako and Sheikh Alpha Daha Konta, Caliph of Tariqa Qadiria, traditional branch of Tombouctou.    

These audiences were attended by minister of endowment and Islamic affairs Ahmed Toufiq.
