HM The King Appoints Mr. Nizar Baraka President Of The Economic, Social And Environmental Council

During the same meeting that His Majesty King Mohammed VI received Mr. Chakib Benmoussa, the Sovereign appointed Mr. Nizar Baraka President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE), said Wednesday a statement from the Royal Office.

The Sovereign commended the confirmed expertise and skills of Mr. Nizar Baraka, and his abnegation  and integrity in carrying out the various responsibilities he was tasked with, the statement said.

His Majesty the King also paid tribute to Mr. Chakib Benmoussa for his loyal efforts as President of the Council and the quality of the work done in collaboration with all the components of the Council, before starting his new mission as Ambassador of His Majesty the King to the French Republic.

His Majesty the King accepted the resignation of Mr. Baraka  from his position as Minister of Economy and Finance that was presented to the Head of Government, the statement added.
