FAR Inspector General Receives Chief of Staff of Togolese Armed Forces

Upon the instructions of HM the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of general Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), Lieutenant-General, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone, received on Monday at the FAR general staff headquarters in Rabat, brigadier general Abalo Kadangha, chief of staff of Togolese armed forces.

The talks touched on military cooperation between Morocco and Togo, said a statement by FAR general staff, adding that this cooperation concerns the training of Togolese army's executives in FAR schools and training centers, in addition to exchanging visits.

The two top officers examined means to boost and broaden this cooperation. They also expressed their satisfaction with the excellent ties of partnership between the Royal Armed Forces and Togo's armed forces, the same source added.

Military and technical cooperation between the two armies is going to be furthered via a memorandum of understanding between Morocco and Togo.

The chief of staff of Togolese armed forces is on a visit to the Kingdom on Nov. 27-30 along with a military delegation.
