Spain Welcomes Measures Taken By Morocco On Respect For Human Rights, MFA

The Spanish government welcomed on Wednesday the measures adopted by Morocco for the defense and respect for human rights.
"Spain welcomes the measures taken by the Moroccan authorities of human rights," said a statement from the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, in response to the latest report of the Secretary General of the UN Ban Ki-Moon on the Sahara.
Spain welcomed, in March, the adoption by the Council of Ministers of the draft law on military justice and the decision of the government council regarding the complaints and proposals of the National Council for Human rights (CNDH).
The adoption of these measures is "a positive step towards the promotion of human rights and freedoms in Morocco," stressed the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
