Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency Launches Second Phase of Humanitarian Aid Campaign for Displaced Palestinians in Gaza

The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency on Monday launched the second phase of the Moroccan humanitarian aid campaign in Gaza City, with the support of the Moroccan Association for Supporting Reconstruction in Palestine.

This operation, the second in less than two weeks, provided vital assistance to hundreds of Palestinian families displaced from northern and eastern Gaza, currently sheltering in a displacement camp under dire humanitarian conditions.

As in the first phase of the campaign—carried out on June 20 for displaced families in Mawasi Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip—recipients received food baskets containing flour, cooking oil, lentils, and beans, sourced from local markets despite widespread shortages and soaring prices.

The campaign will continue in multiple phases over the coming weeks, aiming to reach around 1,000 families across various regions of Gaza, including the north, center, and south, despite challenging security conditions and the ongoing risk of further displacement.

On this occasion, beneficiaries expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, may God assist him, for his continued support of the Palestinian people.

They also conveyed their heartfelt thanks to the Kingdom of Morocco — its Sovereign, government, and people — for standing by them during these difficult times, stressing that this initiative addressed urgent needs at a time when food supplies are scarce and prohibitively expensive due to the ongoing blockade.
