Attack against Morocco's Embassy in Tripoli: UN Expresses its Solidarity with Morocco
The United Nations expressed its solidarity with Morocco and South Korea following the attacks that have targeted their embassies in Tripoli, UN Spokesman Stephane Dujarric said Monday.
Special Representative of the UN Secretary General Bernardino Leon "expressed solidarity with the governments and peoples of Morocco and South Korea following these attacks", the spokesman said at the daily press briefing.
A bomb exploded at the gates of the Moroccan embassy in the Libyan capital, Tripoli. There was some damage to cars nearby, but no reports of injuries.
The attack occurred hours after two people were shot dead outside South Korea's embassy in the Libyan capital.
