Morocco Sends Humanitarian Aid To Chad
Upon instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, and within the framework of continued solidarity with the African countries, Morocco sent on Friday humanitarian aid to the Republic of Chad, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation said in a statement.
The aid consists of blankets, medicine and pharmaceutical products in order to alleviate the suffering of civilians displaced in the African country, the statement said.
"Morocco expresses its deep concern about the humanitarian situation of a large number of displaced people and calls on the international community to mobilize the humanitarian assistance necessary to end their suffering," the statement concluded.
