FAR Inspector General Receives Chief of Staff of Djibouti Armed Forces

Upon the instructions of HM the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of general Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), Lieutenant-General, FAR's Inspector General and commander of the Southern Zone, received Monday at the FAR general staff headquarters in Rabat, the Chief of Staff of Djibouti's armed forces, Major General Zakaria Cheikh Ibrahim.
The talks, which took place in the presence of Djibouti’s ambassador in Rabat, focused on military cooperation between the two countries and the means to strengthen it, said a statement by FAR general staff.
The two officials also expressed satisfaction with the excellent partnership between the Moroccan FAR and Djibouti’s armed forces, the statement added.
Military cooperation between the two countries concerns notably the training of Djibouti’s army executives at FAR schools and training centers, in addition to exchanging visits.
The chief of staff of Djibouti’s armed forces is on a working visit to the Kingdom (January 8-11) along with a military delegation.
