Morocco, South Korea sign MoU and bilateral agreement on civil aviation

Morocco and South Korea signed recently a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and a bilateral agreement on air services and civil aviation security.

The agreement will give new momentum to trade partnership between the two countries as it includes clauses on commercial cooperation which will enable Moroccan companies, namely Morocco's carrier RAM, to explore new markets, promote Morocco's connectivity with the Asian market and turn the Casablanca hub into a regional center in northern and western Africa, said a statement by the equipment, transportation and logistics ministry.

The agreement offers the possibility to link several African countries to airports of Asian countries via the Casablanca international Mohammed V airport and 'Incheon' airport hub in Seoul in south Korea.
