Lower House Speaker Represents HM the King at Inauguration Ceremony of Central African Republic's President

Speaker of the House of Representatives (Lower house) Rachid Talbi Alami represented here on Wednesday HM King Mohammed VI at the inauguration ceremony of the new President of the Central African Republic Faustin-Archange Touadera.
Touadera won the February 14 runoff with nearly 63 percent of the vote.
Faustin-Archange Touadera said at his inauguration that he would focus on building peace and enacting reforms to end years of violent turmoil in the impoverished, landlocked nation.
The newly elected president added that he aimed to disarm the country's rival factions, reform the armed forces and boost the agriculture sector.
