Interior Ministers Of France, Morocco, Spain, And Portugal Meet In Paris

Interior ministers of France, Morocco, Spain, and Portugal are meeting this Thursday in Paris behind closed-doors.

French foreign minister said the meeting is looking into actions against drug-trafficking, terrorism and illegal immigration.

The Paris session follows suit to a first meeting of the kind held in Rabat in January 2013 during which the four officials had pledged a series of objectives to be reached in these fields.

He added that the meeting is designed to take stock of achievements and move forward in the goals that still need to be attained.

Prior to the meeting, Moroccan interior minister Mohamed Hassad held a private meeting with French peer and with members of the French-Moroccan friendship group at the French Senate.
