Here follows a statement by the Royal Office:
"His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, President of the Supreme Council of Judicial Power, received this Thursday 18 Dhul Hijja 1477 AH, corresponding to June 4, 2026, at the Rabat Royal Palace, the members that His Majesty has kindly appointed to this Council, in accordance with the Constitution's provisions and the Council's organic law.
These are Mohamed Abdennabaoui, whom His Majesty has appointed for a second term as first president of the Court of cassation, and in this capacity, as president delegate of the Supreme Council of Judicial Power, along with Latifa El Harradji and Nadir El Moumni, as the two newly appointed members to the Council.
His Majesty, may God glorify Him, has kindly appointed Farid El Bacha and renewed the appointments for a second term of Mohamed Zouak and Mohamed Ennasser, among the personalities whose appointments to the Supreme Council of Judicial Power is vested in His Majesty the King under the Constitution.
During this audience, the Council's both new members took the oath before His Majesty the King, may God preserve Him."
