Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem chaired, on Monday at the Assouna Mosque in Rabat, a religious vigil in commemoration of the 28th anniversary of the passing of the Late HM King Hassan II, may God have mercy on His soul.
The religious vigil featured the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the declamation of panegyrics of Prophet Sidna Mohammed, may peace and the blessing of God be upon Him.
On this occasion, the audience offered prayers for the repose of the souls of the late His Majesty King Hassan II and the late His Majesty King Mohammed V, and implored the Almighty to surround the late Sovereigns with His infinite mercy.
Prayers were also offered to preserve His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, guide His steps, crown His actions and initiatives with success, and bless the Sovereign through HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, and all members of the Illustrious Royal Family.
Upon her arrival to the Assouna Mosque, HRH Princess lalla Meryem reviewed a detachment of the auxiliary forces that paid the honors, before being greeted by the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, governor of the Rabat prefecture, Mohamed Yacoubi, the president of the Rabat City Council, Fatiha El Moudni, the director of Entraide Nationale, Khettar El Mojahidi, and the president of the Hassan District Council, Driss Razzi.
