In a press briefing following the Government Council, Baitas highlighted that these opportunities involve 5,000 direct jobs and 7,000 indirect ones, with the zone covering a total area of 138 hectares.
Industrial activities in the ZAI will focus on green energy and green technology, the manufacturing of electric batteries, metallurgic and mechanical industries, the automotive industrie as well as other sectors aligned with the zone's industrial activities.
The Government Council approved a draft decree Thursday to establish the Benguerir Industrial Acceleration Zone, aimed at developing the zone in Oulad Hassoune Hamri, within the Rehamna province of the Marrakech-Safi region.
