HM the King Offers Condolences To Family of Great Journalist, Late Khalid El Jamaï

HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the family of the great journalist, the late Khalid El Jamaï.

In this message, the Sovereign said that He was very saddened and moved by the sorrowful news of the passing of Khalid El Jamaï, one of the pioneers of the Moroccan press, may God welcome him in His vast paradise.

On this occasion, HM the King expressed to the family of the deceased and through them, to his relatives, friends and fans, His hearty condolences and sincere feelings of compassion following the loss of a great journalist, a militant and a committed intellectual, known for his probity, his principles, his sincerity, his objectivity and his high professionalism, whether in his journalistic writings or his political positions, Asking God to grant them patience and comfort.

HM the King recalled, in this painful circumstance, the rich legacy of the deceased, who enjoyed the royal affection and esteem in the media, political and partisan fields for several decades, as well as his high human qualities, in particular his sincere patriotism, his attachment to the sacredness and unwavering values of the Nation, and his loyalty to the person of the Sovereign and to the glorious Alawite throne.

The Sovereign said he shares with the members of the family of the deceased their feelings following this cruel loss, part of the unstoppable destiny of God, praying the Almighty to grant him His holy mercy, to fully reward him for the commendable services made for his homeland and to welcome him among His righteous servants.
