HM the King Condoles Family of Late Advisor Mohamed Moatassim

His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and sympathy to the members of the family of the late Mohamed Moatassim, Advisor to the Sovereign, who passed away on Monday in Rabat.

In this message, HM the King affirms having received with deep sorrow and immense sadness the news of the passing away of the late Mohamed Moatassim, imploring the Almighty to accept him among the virtuous faithful and welcome him in his vast paradise.

In this painful circumstance, the Sovereign expresses to the parents of the late Mohamed Moatassim, his widow Nabila, his children Issam and Sara, and all members of his family, as well as his close ones, friends and admirers, his deep condolences and sincere feelings of compassion following this cruel loss, the divine will being unstoppable, beseeching the Most High to grant them patience and consolation.

The message stresses that the passing away of the late Mohamed Moatassim is a great loss not only for his family, but also for his homeland, which has lost in him a great and faithful servant of the State, who devoted his life to the service of his country, with dedication and selflessness, demonstrating an unwavering attachment to the Glorious Alaouite Throne, and to the constants and sacralities of the Nation.

On this occasion, HM the King says to recall, with great esteem and consideration, the great human qualities and renowned patriotism of the deceased, as well as his fine intellectual and academic abilities and the great acumen in the political and constitutional fields that he demonstrated in the various high positions he held with great competence, "Faithful to our Throne and to our eternal Constants, both under the reign of our revered father the late His Majesty King Hassan II, may God rest his soul in his holy mercy, and as a faithful Advisor to Our Majesty."

"In sharing your grief at this cruel and unavoidable loss, We express once again Our deep condolences, Our sincere feelings of compassion and Our constant High solicitude and benevolence, and beseech the Most High to grant the best of retribution to the deceased as a reward for his laudable deeds in the service of his homeland and his King," the Sovereign added, imploring the Almighty to welcome the deceased in His vast paradise among the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the virtuous.
