HRH Princess Lalla Salma And Ivorian First Lady Visit Majorelle Garden In Marrakech
HRH Princess Lalla Salma and Côte d’Ivoire’s First Lady Mrs Dominique Ouattara wife of President Alassane Ouattara, visited, on Wednesday, the Majorelle Garden in Marrakech.
Upon their arrival the distinguished guests were received by senior officials of the Majorelle Garden Foundation, including the executive director and the secretary General.
Afterwards, HRH Princess Lalla Salma and Mrs Dominique Ouattara visited different sections of the enchanting botanical Garden which also houses a Berber museum offering visitors an insight into the centuries-old Amazigh creativity reflected notably in jewellery, leather handicrafts and carpets.
HRH Princess Lalla Salma and Mrs Ouattara also visited the Majorelle Garden shop which features several works of art as well as the villa where French fashion-designer Yves Saint Laurent stayed while in Marrakech.
At the end of the visit, Mrs Ouattara signed into the golden book of the Garden.
