HRH Princess Lalla Asmae Chairs 2018-2019 School Year Graduation Ceremony of Deaf Children and Youth

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Asmae, Chairwoman of the Lalla Asmae Foundation for Deaf Children and Youth, chaired, on Saturday in Rabat, the graduation ceremony of the 2018-2019 school year of the Foundation.

HRH Princess Lalla Asmae visited, on this occasion, the robotics workshop supervised by Farahate Arabi, professor at the Lalla Asmae Foundation and Mourad Gharbi, professor at the faculty of sciences in Rabat.

Her royal highness was presented with a pedagogical project of the Lalla Asmae Foundation carried out in collaboration with the Nancy Institute of Deaf Youth, as well as activities by the foundation's university students inside the Rabat sciences faculty.

Her royal highness was also presented with the inclusive education of the Foundation's future students within the Fez Euro-Mediterranean University, in addition to activities related to the participation of the foundation's students in the vacation camp of the Mohammedia Foundation for Magistrates and Justice Civil Servants' Social Works in Agadir during the summer of 2018.

Afterwards, HRH Princess Lalla Asmae followed a presentation on the projects of building regional centers of the Foundation, notably Princess Lalla Asmae Centre-Saiss, and the Princess Lalla Asmae Center-Tadla.

Her royal highness chaired the graduation ceremony marked by the reading of Quran verses by one of the Foundation's students, a musical show and dancing performances by kids.

In a speech, director of the Foundation El Abbes Bouhlal said that 16 students from the Foundation will sit for exams to get the high school diploma (baccalaureate), underlining the launch of the pedagogical restructuring for a better performance by the Foundation.

He also presented to HRH Princess Lalla Asmae the graduate of the 2018 baccalaureate of the Lalla Asmae Foundation, the candidates for the 2019 baccalaureate, and members of the national education ministry and the adaptation committee of the said exam.

HRH Princess Lalla Asmae handed, symbolically, hearing aids (30) and spectacles (30) paid for by the OCP Foundation.

Afterwards, Her Royal Highness followed a report on oral and dental care, dispensed to the Foundation's kids during this school year, by Naoual Bouyahyaoui, dean of the faculty of dental medicine in Rabat.

HRH also gave awards to brilliant students.

Upon her arrival at the headquarters of the foundation, HRH Princess Lalla Asmae reviewed a detachment of the auxiliary forces that paid the honors and was greeted mainly by national education minister Said Amzazi, health minister Anas Doukkali and family and solidarity minister Bassima Hakkaoui.
