HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Chairs Club World Cup Final

 HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired, Saturday at the Grand Stadium of Marrakech, the final game of the 2014 Club World Cup won by Real Madrid after beating San Lorenzo 2-0.

 

   On his arrival at the Marrakech Grand Stadium, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan reviewed a detachment of the Royal Guard which made the honors, before being greeted by Interior minister Mohamed Hassad, FIFA President Joseph Blatter, Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez and San Lorenzo President Matias Lammens. 

 

   HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was also greeted by President of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, Hosni Benslimane, Wali of the Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz region, Abdeslam Bikrate, President of the regional council, Touizi Ahmed, president of the Prefectural Council of Marrakech Jamila Afif, president of the rural commune of Ouahat Sidi Brahim, Abderrahim El Kamel, and President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa.

 

   Under the acclamations of the public, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan joined the grandstand.

 

   Then, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, accompanied by FIFA President, was welcomed by the players of finalist teams and referees.   

 

   After posing for a souvenir photo with members of both teams and referees, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan rejoined the grandstand where he followed the final game. 

 

   At the end of the match, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, accompanied by FIFA President, awarded medals to the players of the top three teams and handed the FIFA Club World Cup to the captain of Real Madrid, Iker Casillas.

 

   Spain's Real Madrid on Saturday bested South American champions San Lorenzo 2-0 to win the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup.
