HRH The Crown Prince Chairs Ceremony Marking 50th Anniversary Of Railway Office

HRH Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired this Saturday evening in Rabat a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the National Railway Office (ONCF).

HRH the Crown prince watched a document on intended celebrations for the ONCF 50th anniversary and a presentation on the history of the railway office.

HRH crown prince Moulay El Hassan then followed a presentation on "railway stations in celebration" projected in 10 Moroccan railway stations on the same occasion.

Festivities include play and learn activities, with questions and answers, music entertainment, mime shows, coloring contests and distorting mirrors in railway stations.

HRH the Crown prince then visited the "mini rail museum exhibition" which displays items from the Moroccan railway legacy (clocks, ticket machine, uniforms and archives photos).

HRH the Crown also attended a "sounds and light" show, a 3d show screened on the ancient wall of Chellah, a necropolis and complex of ancient Roman ruins in Rabat. It traces back the history of railways in Morocco from the Protectorate until the great speed train era.

The ceremony wound up with a firework show that illuminated the Chellah walls.
