"Trabajamos para concretizar la visión del presidente Trump y de Su Majestad el Rey sobre el arreglo de la cuestión del Sáhara y el desarrollo de las relaciones bilaterales" (Massad Boulos, entrevista exclusiva a Medi1 TV y Radio)

United States president Donald Trump's Senior Advisor for Africa, Massad Boulos, underscored that the U.S. administration is endeavoring to materialize the shared vision of President Donald Trump and His Majesty King Mohammed VI regarding the settlement of the Sahara issue and the advancement of bilateral ties.

In an exclusive interview with Medi1 TV and Radio, Boulos reiterated—echoing statements made earlier by the U.S. Secretary of State—Washington’s commitment to "a lasting solution without delay, based on Morocco’s autonomy proposal as the sole framework for negotiating a mutually acceptable resolution." He noted that this matter would be reviewed in detail with the relevant parties during the upcoming visit to Morocco.

Boulos emphasized that the United States underlines the importance of the Moroccan-American partnership in promoting peace and security under the leadership of President Donald Trump and His Majesty King Mohammed VI, noting that the U.S. considers the Kingdom a major partner in the region.

The U.S. official also highlighted Morocco’s pivotal, central and strategic role in matters concerning the Arab world, Africa, and the Middle East, stressing that the United States looks to benefit from this historical and highly significant role.

In this regard, he expressed his appreciation for the leading and active role played by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in addressing these issues.

He also hailed Morocco as a brotherly country, an ally, and a strategic partner of the United States. "We aspire to see these ties grow even stronger," the U.S. President’s Special Advisor for Africa concluded.
