Upon Royal Instructions, Moroccan Authorities Mobilize All Means to Open Up Areas Affected by Cold Weather
Upon royal instructions, local authorities, in coordination with the various departments, mobilized all means and took all measures to open up the affected areas by the cold weather, and provide the necessary aid to citizens to face the effects of difficult weather conditions, the Interior ministry said on Friday.
In this regard, a set of measures were undertaken to help people suffering from precariousness, notably the homeless, said the ministry in a statement, adding that since November 22nd, the local authorities launched operations to provide shelter, food and health care for the homeless, which benefited more than 1,200 people, particularly in cities impacted by the cold weather.
The services and authorities concerned will remain mobilized to ensure the necessary aid to the citizens by providing the appropriate resources and means, the same source said.
