Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch announced on Thursday the decision to return to GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) starting the end of this summer.
In a press release following the Government Council, Akhannouch stated that this decision comes in response to citizens' needs, following meetings convened by the governmental majority.
He further added that this measure seeks to address challenges raised by the GMT+1 time format, as part of the government's interaction with citizens' demands.
