Estonia and Morocco reaffirmed, on Tuesday in Tallinn, their shared will for a reinforced and mutually beneficial partnership in several key areas.

At a meeting in the Estonian capital, Estonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs , Margus Tsahkna and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, welcomed the positive momentum in relations between the two countries, driven by the Joint Declaration signed by the two countries on October 21, 2024 in Rabat.

The two ministers underscored the economic assets of Estonia and Morocco and agreed to encourage economic operators in both countries to explore business opportunities, mainly in digital technologies and renewables.

They also called for encouraging meetings between the two countries’ business communities, mainly by hosting economic forums in order to facilitate contacts and build partnerships.

Estonia also expressed its interest in Morocco's economic positioning as a platform for the African market, expressing its willingness to develop projects in a tripartite Morocco-Estonia-Africa framework, focusing on key sectors serving the digital and energy transitions.
