During this audience, His Majesty the King, may God preserve Him, awarded Nawal Sfendla with the Wissam of Al Moukafaa Al Watania of the Order of Officer.
This Royal audience reflects the steadfast interest His Majesty the King, may God glorify Him, has shown for sports—a true driver of human development, inclusion, and social cohesion—as well as the High Care and Benevolence with which the Sovereign has consistently surrounded Moroccan women, the pillars of society.
His Majesty the King had sent the Moroccan mountaineer a message of congratulations for her world-class achievement, the result of her sustained efforts and determination.
