His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, may God assist Him, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and HH Prince Moulay Ahmed, chaired on Monday at the Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat, a religious evening in commemoration of the 28th anniversary of the passing of late HM King Hassan II, may God surround him with His infinite mercy.
The religious vigil featured the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the declamation of panegyrics of Prophet Sidna Mohammed, may peace and blessing of God be upon Him.
On this occasion, the Sovereign, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and HH Prince Moulay Ahmed, paid His respects to the grave of the late HM King Hassan II.
At the end of this religious evening, prayers were raised for the repose of the soul of the late HM Hassan II and the late HM Mohammed V, imploring the Most High to have the late Sovereigns in His holy mercy.
Prayers were also said to preserve and assist His Majesty King Mohammed VI and to crown with success His various actions and initiatives in the service of His faithful people.
The audience also implored the Almighty to bless the Sovereign in the persons of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and all members of the Illustrious Royal Family.
The Head of Government, the Speakers of the two Houses of Parliament, HM the King's Advisors, members of the Government, Presidents of constitutional bodies, senior officers of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, representatives of the Islamic diplomatic corps accredited to Rabat and several other civil and military dignitaries also attended the religious evening.
