Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch reaffirmed Tuesday in Rabat the government's commitment to the optimal implementation of the national solidarity project relating to the generalization of social protection.
Akhannouch, who chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Steering Commission for the reform of the social protection system, stressed that the government is firmly committed to the optimal implementation of this national project, within the framework of a clear and integrated vision and in full compliance with the deadline set by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, according to a press release from the Office of the Head of Government.
He also stressed that the government is furthering its efforts to lay the foundations for a more equitable and sustainable national social policy, in accordance with the Royal Will.
This meeting was devoted to reviewing the results of various programs included in the social protection project, in accordance with the Royal Will, monitoring the process of registration in the national population register and the unified social register, the process of registration in the “AMO-Tadamon” plan, and the implementation of the direct social assistance program for the families concerned.
