The Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, was named Finance Minister of the Year on Wednesday evening in Abidjan during the 2025 edition of the "African Banker" Awards.
The "Finance Minister of the Year" award was presented to Fettah at a ceremony held on the sidelines of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Annual Meetings.
The award recognizes her prudent macroeconomic policies and the reforms undertaken to create a favorable investment climate.
Organized by African Banker magazine and IC Events in cooperation with Business in Africa Events, the "African Banker" Awards celebrate excellence and best practices in the banking and financial sector.
