HM King Mohammed VI received the new members appointed to the Constitutional Court

Here follows a statement from the Royal Office:

"HM King Mohammed VI received on Wednesday Rajab 16, 1441 Hegira, corresponding to March 11, 2020 at the Royal Palace of Casablanca, the four new members appointed to the Constitutional Court, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the organic law of this Court, mainly the provisions relating to the renewal of one third of its members.

They are:

- Latifa El Khal and El Houssain Abouchi, members appointed by HM the King.

- Mohamed Alami, member elected by the House of Representatives,

- Khalid Berjaoui, member elected by the House of Advisors.

During this audience, the four new members were sworn in before HM the King, in accordance with the provisions of the organic law of the Constitutional Court. They will take office starting April 4, 2020, when the mandate of one third of the court's members ends.

This audience took place in the presence of President of the Constitutional Court Said Ihrai".
