Morocco and Indonesia are urged to boost their economic partnership, said, on Wednesday in Fez, head of government Saad Eddine El Othmani.

The head of government, who met with Indonesian Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita on the sidelines of the second Fez-Meknes Economic Forum (June 27-30), praised the official and popular relations between Rabat and Jakarta, calling on businessmen in both countries to further develop these ties.

He highlighted the High Royal Instructions on the importance of strengthening South-South relations, the Moroccan policy in Africa and the development strategies for the national economy.

For his part, the Indonesian official welcomed the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI at the regional and international levels.

He underlined the strong will of Indonesian businessmen to develop bonds with their Moroccan counterparts, stressing the importance of further promoting economic ties between the two countries.

Enggartiasto Lukita, whose country is the guest of honor of the said economic forum,, is accompanied by a large delegation of businessmen.
