Lower House Speaker Represents HM the King at President Erdogan's Inauguration Ceremony
Speaker of the House of Representatives (Morocco's lower house), Habib El Malki, represented on Monday in Ankara HM King Mohammed VI at the inauguration ceremony of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by 22 heads of state and 28 prime ministers and parliament speakers from different countries.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was sworn in under the country’s new presidential system.
HM King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his re-election as President of the Republic of Turkey.
In this message, the Sovereign expressed to President Erdogan his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes of success in his high office, and in achieving the brotherly Turkish people's aspirations for further progress and prosperity.
"This re-election testifies to Turkish people’s renewed trust in you and their consideration for your sustained efforts to achieve progress and development and to strengthen Turkey's position within its regional environment and internationally," HM the King said.
The Sovereign also expressed his satisfaction with the strong brotherly ties and mutual esteem binding the two peoples, as well as bilateral relations based on fruitful cooperation and active solidarity, reaffirming his firm determination to continue working together with the Turkish president in order to promote these relations and raise them to the level of the two brotherly peoples’ aspirations, with a view to serving their common interests and promoting security, peace and stability worldwide.
