The Moroccan embassy in Rome announced, on Monday, the establishment of a monitoring and communication unit for Moroccans residing in Italy to get information about their situation after the reporting of cases of the new coronavirus in some Italian regions.

The embassy said in a press release that it had provided the following telephone numbers for members of the Moroccan community to enable them contact the embassy services and the relevant centers:

- The Embassy of the Kingdom in Rome: 00.39.338.526.64.17.

- The Consulate General of Bologna: 00.39.389.563.47.91.

- The Consulate General of Milan: 00.39.320.94451.17

- The Consulate General of Naples: 00.39.389.06098.98

- The Consulate General of Turin: 00.39.351 583.14.99.

- The Consulate General of Verona: 00.39.389.965.21.68

The Embassy urges all members of the Moroccan community to comply with the directives and advices by the competent Italian authorities and to contact immediately the number (1500) in the event of an emergency.
